I support you wearing a mask – you are not alone!

Some people don’t believe in masks, but I do because I think it is an inexpensive and easy “ounce of prevention”. (I also STOP at stop signs and look both ways 3 times – just because it is much easier than surviving a wreck.)

Retirees are in the at-risk category. They will be greatly less at-risk if mask naysayers put one on . . . not much to ask.

Board approves 3% COLA increase for retirees on July 1, 2020

The Franklin Regional Retirement Board, at its March 25, 2020 meeting, voted a retirees’ COLA of 3% beginning July 1, 2020.

The maximum COLA base for the retirees’ annual COLA remains at $17,000.

Paul Mokrzecki reappointed as Fifth Member of the board.

May 27, 2020: The Franklin Regional Retirement Board voted to reappoint the incumbent Fifth Member, Paul Mokrzecki, because his experience and relevant expertise greatly surpassed those listed by the other candidates enough that conducting interviews would not have yielded a better choice. The new term will begin July 1, 2020 and extend 5 years until June 30, 2025
